Hyderabad: Over 18,000 people were at the Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) Season 2 where Bollywood actor Salman Khan kicked off the event along with chief minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy.
The stadium saw an overwhelming crowd of bike lovers and Salman Khan fans. The round 2 was an electrifying night of high octane motorsport at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Gachibowli.
Record Attendance and Rider Victories
In the racing action:
Gujarat Trailblazers clinched the overall victory in Round 2.
Anthony Bourdon (France) from BB Racing won the 450cc International Class on a Honda CRF 450 R.
Calvin Fonvieille (France) from Indewheelers Motorsports claimed victory in the 250cc International Class aboard a Yamaha YZ 250.
Nakami Makarim (Indonesia) from team Bigrock Motorsports SX secured the chequered flag in the fiercely contested 250cc India-Asia Mix category on a Kawasaki KX 250.
The event showcased aglobal rider roster with top athletes from 21 countries, including Australia, France, USA, Germany, and Thailand, competing alongside India’s finest riders like Rugved Barguje and Ikshan Shanbhag.
Leaders Applaud ISRL's Vision
Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy applauded the league, stating, “Welcoming international-standard motorsport leagues like ISRL reflects our commitment to innovation in sport, job creation, tourism growth, and positioning Hyderabad firmly on the global sporting map. Events like these inspire discipline, resilience and pride among our youth”.
Salman Khan, ISRL Brand Ambassador, shared his excitement, saying: “The energy in Hyderabad tonight was unbelievable. ISRL is creating something meaningful for the youth of our country, where talent meets opportunity with world-class safety standards”.
Veer Patel, managing director & co-Founder, ISRL, highlighted the strong public response: “A packed stadium cheering relentlessly reflects how deeply motorsport is resonating with Indian youth. We are grateful to the Government of Telangana for supporting our vision to build a world-class motorsport ecosystem”.
The event created a festival-like atmosphere with the Reise Moto Fan Park, which included live music, racing simulators, rider meet-and-greets, and interactive zones, further elevating the spectator experience.
The ISRL Season 2 now heads to Kozhikode, Kerala, for the Grand Finale on December 21, 2025, at the EMS Corporation Stadium.
