2018 Everyone is a Hero: Blockbuster Malayalam hit to release in Telugu

Hyderabad: Audiences and movie buffs in Kerala are thronging the theatres to watch Tovino Thomas starrer ‘2018 Everyone is a Hero.’ The film is about the floods that occurred in Kerala in 2018 and took the lives of thousands of people.

The film is running successfully in the theatres and has broken many existing records at the Kerala box office. The makers and the lead actors are bowled over by the response they have been receiving over the past week. After becoming a blockbuster hit at the box office, the film is set to release in other languages, including Telugu, very soon.

The movie has earned around Rs. 5.18 crores on its 9th day in Kerala alone, which is a record in the history of the Kerala film industry. Worldwide collection is reported to be around Rs. 80 crores in the first nine days and is moving towards the 100-crore club.

The biggest budget movie from the Malayalam film industry, ‘2018 Everyone is a Hero’ released on 5 May. It is directed by Jude Anthany Joseph and features a prominent star cast comprising Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Kunchako Boban, Lal, Narain, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Aparna Balamurali, and Tanvi. Director Jude has succeeded in recreating the Kerala floods which has clearly made an impact on the audience.

The movie is produced by Venu Kunnappilly, C.K. Padma Kumar, and Anto Joseph under the banner of Kavya Film Company and PK Prime Productions.

The film will soon be dubbed and released in Telugu. An official release date will be announced later this week.
