`Acharya' to `Ghostly': Post-marriage Kajal Aggarwal is on a roll

Actress Kajal Aggarwal has good number of projects in her hand. However, due to the lockdown, and the much-anticipated third wave, the actress is trying hard to remain safe.
As per the latest reports, Kajal has signed a female-centric film `Uma'. An official confirmation on the same is awaited.
The film will be shot extensively in Kolkata. Director Tathagatha Singha will be helming the film. `Uma' will be bankrolled by Avishek Ghosh and Mantaraj Paliwal from Miraj Group.
Touted to be a fantasy feel-good film, Kajal is said to be playing a character that is something similar to Mary Poppins. Awe apart, Kajal has not been part of any female-centric films till now. So this film is going to be special for Kajal and her fans.
On the other hand, she has signed for a Tamil film tentatively titled `Rowdy Baby'. 'Rowdy Baby' will be directed by debutante Raju Saravanan and produced by Ramesh P Pillai under the Abhisekh Films banner. The film has music by Sam CS, lyrics by Vairamuthu, cinematography by Chelladurai, and editing by Deepak Dwarakanath.
An official confirmation of this film is also awaited. As per the reports, Kajal is said to be playing a mother in this film.
Besides these flicks, Kajal Aggarwal can be seen in `Hey Sinamika' with Dulquer Salmaan. She will also feature in `Acharya' with Chiranjeevi. `Ghosty' with director Deekay is also lined up.
Acharya has gone of floors once again and the makers are working overtime to complete the project. The actress will also be seen in Kamal Haasan and Shankar's `Indian 2'.
