Actor Meena's husband passed away; fans offer condolences

Actor Meena's husband Vidyasagar passed away on Monday in a private hospital in Chennai.
He was suffering from a severe lung infection and was reportedly under treatment for the last few months.
Vidyasagar was a businessman based out of Bengaluru and the couple has a daughter, Nainika.
Meena started her career in movies as a child artist. She went on to become one of the most sought-after actors and played leading roles in the 90s and the late 2000s. Meena acted with all the superstars down the south.
Post marriage, she took a break from films. She was recently seen in Malayalam Drishyam 1 and 2. Her performance in Rajinikanth's Annathhe and Mohanlal's Bro Daddy were appreciated very much. She was last seen in the Telugu film `Son of India'.
Nainika also made her screen debut with Vijay's Theri in which she played his daughter. Condolences are pouring in from members of the film fraternity and fans of Meena.
