Actor Suriya, director Bala to reunite after 18 years on new film
Kriti Shetty has been roped in to play the leading lady in the film and it marks her debut in Tamil cinema

The new film will be produced by Jyotika and Suriya and co-produced by Rajsekar Pandian of 2D Entertainment. Suriya took to Twitter to share the news.

Bala has prepared another unique and intriguing story for Suriya. The film, tentatively titled #Suriya41, was launched on 28 March with a pooja ceremony in Kanyakumari. The shooting also commenced on Monday. The film will see Balasubramaniem helm the camera, while G.V Prakash Kumar will score the music. Kriti Shetty has been roped in to play the leading lady in the film and it marks her debut in Tamil cinema.
Suriya's recent flick 'ET' opened to mixed responses at the theatre. After the blockbuster 'Jai Bhim', which went till the Oscars, a film like 'ET' was a disappointment for fans of the actor.
