Agent begins in Vizag; Akhil Akkineni, Surender Reddy shoot for a song

Hyderabad: Actor Akhil Akkineni is basking on the success of his recent blockbuster film 'Most Eligible Bachelor'. After a couple of flops at the box office, this film has given Akhil a much-needed boost. Akhil and Surender Reddy have come together for a high-budget action thriller called 'Agent'. The team started shooting in Vizag port. The team will be shooting intense action scenes in this schedule.

Akhil got a warm welcome in Vizag port from fans who conducted a huge rally. This shows the following of the young hero among all sections of the audience, particularly among the youth.

High on action, Akhil will be seen performing some deadly stunts in the movie. The actor indeed underwent unbelievable physical transformation to play this action-packed role. Akhil recently celebrated his birthday and, on the occasion, a brand-new poster was unveiled which got a tremendous response. Mammootty plays a powerful role in the film, while newbie Sakshi Vaidya will be seen as Akhil's love interest in the film billed to be a spy thriller. Vakkantham Vamsi has written the story and 'Agent' is being produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema.

Sensational composer Hip Hop Thamizha has scored the music while Rasool Ellore cranks the camera. National Award-winner Naveen Nooli is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the art director. Ajay Sunkara and Pathi Deepa Reddy are the co-producers of the film.
