Ajith, Tabu to reunite on screen after 22 years

Hyderabad: Ajith and Tabu are set to work together again after 22 years. The actors were last seen together in 'Kandukondain Kandukondain' directed by Rajiv Menon. Their song was a blockbuster hit and is still one of the best songs of the 90s. This was 22 years ago and they still remain one of the best onscreen pairs.
Ajith is soon going to begin shooting for H. Vinoth's film that will be produced by Boney Kapoor. The shooting is will begin soon with a muhurtham pooja. Now, sources are saying that the filmmakers are roping in Tabu to play a key role. An official confirmation is awaited.
Meanwhile, Ajith's film 'Valimai' is waiting to hit the screens. It was scheduled to release during Pongal this month but was postponed due to the lockdown in Chennai as COVID-19 cases surged. 'Valimai' stars Huma Qureshi and Nerkonda Parvani.
Ajith worked with H. Vinoth and Boney Kapoor for 'Nerkonda Parvai' and 'Valimai'. He will be working with the duo for the upcoming film, too, which is tentatively titled 'AK 61'.
