Allari Naresh: Here is why the actor stopped doing comedy roles

‘Naandhi’ is a critically acclaimed film that was a hit at the box office. It has amazing performances by Naresh and Varalakshmi Sharath Kumar.
Allari Naresh has stopped doing comedy roles after the film and started exploring the actor within with a different approach towards characters and scripts. He has started choosing content-driven stories that give him the scope to prove his mettle.
The actor is all set for the release of his upcoming film ‘Ugram’ which is directed by Vijay Kanakamedala. While their first movie, ‘Naandhi,’ was critically acclaimed and a commercial success, their second movie ‘Ugram’ is also creating a positive buzz.
As part of the film’s promotions, they released a teaser that showed Naresh as a serious cop and the video was well-received among all sections. They also began the musical promotions on a blockbuster note with the first single “Deveri” getting a terrific response.
On Monday, the makers announced the film’s release date. Ugram will hit the screens on 5 May as one of the biggest summer attractions. Allari Naresh looks intense in the release date poster which is from an action sequence in the movie.
Billed to be an action thriller, ‘Ugram’ is produced grandly by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the banner of Shine Screens. Toom Venkat has written the story while Abburi Ravi has penned the dialogues.
Sid handles the cinematography for the movie, while Sricharan Pakala has composed the music. Chota K. Prasad is the editor and Brahma Kadali is the production designer.
