Hyderabad: Naga Chaitanya and Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Custody’ was wrapped up recently and the makers are slowly gearing up for promotions. The film is slated for release in May.
The film stars Krithi Shetty as the leading lady; this is her second film with Chaitanya. Arvind Swami is also playing a pivotal role in the film and on Thursday evening, the makers released the first look of the actor from the action thriller. Arvind Swami is playing the role of Raju aka Raazu in the film.
His look is powerful and he is in handcuffs and behind bars. This menacing look has further raised expectations on this action thriller.
Priyamani will be seen in a powerful role in the film which also stars Sarathkumar, Sampath Raj, Premji, Vennela Kishore, Premi Vishwanath, among others.
‘Custody’ is one of the most expensive films in the career of the Akkineni hero. Srinivasaa Chitturi is producing the film under Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. The film is being made with high production values and technical standards.
Pavan Kumar is presenting this ambitious project. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja and Little Maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja have scored the music for the movie. Abburi Ravi has penned the dialogues while S.R. Kathir is handling the cinematography. Rajeevan is the production designer and D.Y. Satyanarayana is the art director.
Shot as a Telugu and Tamil bilingual, ‘Custody’ will have its theatrical release worldwide on 12 May.
