The trailer came as a welcome surprise to the actor's fans who have been waiting for a long time to get at least a glimpse of the teaser.
The trailer begins with the East Coast mall in Chennai being hijacked by a bunch of terrorists. Dressed in outfits inspired by the hit Netflix series 'Money Heist' and wearing masks inspired by 'Breaking Bad', the terrorists rain bullets and hold people hostage. As Intelligence officers contemplate the right plan of action, then comes the news that super cop Veeraraghavan (Vijay) is one of the hostages. What happens next is what we have to wait to watch on the big screens.

Pooja Hegde will be seen alongside Vijay in the film. 'Beast' will also feature Selvaraghavan, Redin Kingsley, Bjorn Surrao, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, and Shine Tom Chacko. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music for the film, while Manoj Paramahamsa has handled the camera. Editing is by R. Nirmal.
