Hyderabad: The second wave of COVID-19 had halted the shoot of the Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster film 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum'. Here is some good news for the fans of Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati: the film has now gone back on the floors.

The filmmakers released a photograph from the sets and introduced Pawan Kalyan as Bheemla Nayak, the police on duty. Pawan will be stepping into the shoes of Biju Menon for this film. The makers tweeted, "#BheemlaNayak is back on duty šŸ¤©@SitharaEnts #ProductionNo12 shoot resumes today with all the safety precautions! The filmmakers resumed shooting on Monday at Aluminium Factory in Hyderabad. Both Pawan Kalyan and Rana are participating in the latest schedule. Earlier, the makers had finished two schedules of the film and now they are working at a brisk pace to finish the shoot as early as possible. Tentatively called 'PSPK Rana Movie', the film will be an action thriller. Trivikram Srinivas is writing the dialogues for the film while the music is by S. Thaman.

The details of the female leads are yet to be revealed. Sitara Entertainments is bankrolling the project that is likely to release by the end of the year.

Pawan Kalyan will soon be seen in Krish's 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' while Rana will be seen in Venu Udugula's 'Virata Parvam'. Pawan Kalyan has also given his nod to star in films by Harish Shankar and Surender Reddy. Further details are awaited.

Fans of Pawan Kalyan are super excited that their favourite actor is back on the big screen after a long time and are waiting to see him back in action.
