Hyderabad: The non-theatrical rights of Pawan Kalyan's 'Bheemla Nayak' have been sold for a whopping Rs. 70 crore. This jaw-dropping sum goes on to show the popularity of the film.
One of the most-awaited Telugu films of the year, 'Bheemla Nayak' is set to hit the screens on 25 February. Directed by Sagar Chandra K, the film is produced by Surya Devara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. It also stars Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen, Samyuktha Hegde, Murali Sharma, and Samuthirakhani.
Distributors across both the Telugu states are ready to pay any amount to buy the film because they know the profits will be huge. Also, now that the Andhra Pradesh government has allowed 100% occupancy in theatres and increased the ticket prices, it looks like good days for theatre owners and distributors are here.
The film's pre-release event will be held on Monday at the Police Grounds in Hyderabad. Cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav is the chief guest. The trailer will also be released on the same day.
'Bheemla Nayak' which is also releasing in Hindi is the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam blockbuster hit 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum'. Pawan Kalyan and Rana Dagguabti have stepped into the roles played by Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran, respectively. Expectations are huge and all other films that were set to release on 25 February have postponed their dates.
