#GreenIndiaChallenge: Big B joins hands with MP Santosh Kumar for clean, sustainable environment
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who is in Hyderabad to shoot Telugu film with Prabhas and Nag Ashwin, participated in #GreenIndiaChallenge organized by MP Santosh Kumar.

Hyderabad: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who is in Hyderabad to shoot Telugu film with Prabhas and Nag Ashwin, participated in #GreenIndiaChallenge organized by MP Santosh Kumar.
Santosh started the challenge more than a year ago and since then many celebrities joined hands with him. The programme received a boost when superstar Amitabh Bachchan came on board.
"Team #GreenIndiaChallenge is delighted to have you on board SuperStar @SrBachchan Ji! It's a privilege for all of us. Honored to be with you while you plant a sapling. Your kind encouraging words for your fans and others to take this up would mean a lot for us sir@iamnagarjuna," Santosh Kumar tweeted.
The MP also gifted the Superstar his book 'Vruksha Vedam'. The book highlights the importance of planting trees and improving greenery. The challenge and the book have been recently appreciated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well.
The event took place in Ramoji Film City where Amitabh is shooting for Project-K. Akkineni Nagarjuna, Producer Aswini Dutt and Film City MD Vijayeshwari also participated in this program.
Amitabh has appreciated MP Santosh Kumar for aggressively promoting the importance of increasing Green cover in the age of Global Warming and Rapid Urbanization.
"I am aware of this a long time ago. It's a great privilege for me. I wish him all the best. Plants are very important for the environment and our survival," said Amitabh Bachchan.
