Bimbisara makes Rs 6.3 cr at box office on first day, recovers half its budget

Hyderabad: Nandamuri Kalyan Ram starrer 'Bimbisara' is breaking records. The film, directed by Vashisht, opened to mind-blowing collections and lived up to the audiences' expectations.

The fantasy action film collected Rs. 9.50 crores (approx..) on Friday in India, earning Rs. 6.25 crores share. The Telugu states made most of the earnings (Rs. 8.80 crores) on the opening day.

Expectations for the film were high and Kalyan Ram did not disappoint. Thanks to Jr. NTR's support for the film and kudos to the team that worked hard in delivering such an amazing film to the industry that is deprived of hits now.

This new-age concept thriller is entertaining audiences across the world. Fans of Kalyan Ram are happy as the actor has got a much-needed hit. Also, a sequel is on the cards and the makers have already made it official. Kalyan Ram said, "It can be called a franchise rather than a sequel."
