Hyderabad: After bagging a blockbuster hit with Puri Jagannadhā€™s ā€˜iSmart Shankar,ā€™ actor Ram Pothineniā€™s next two filmsā€”ā€˜Redā€™ and ā€˜The Warriorā€™ā€”were huge flops at the box office. The actor must bag a hit now in order to retain his stardom. And for that, Ram has joined hands with director Boyapati Sreenu for his next which is tentatively titled #BoyapatiRAPO.

On Tuesday, the makers announced the filmā€™s release date. #BoyapatiRAPO will hit the theatres on 20 October for Dussehra. This is a perfect date for the movie which will appeal to the masses as well as families. In fact, Dussehra holidays are going to work in favour of the movie.

The film is going to be a pakka mass and commercial entertainer and it is expected that Ram will bag a hit that he has so far been deprived of. Boyapati Sreenu is known for making family entertainers and 90% of the films he made are some of the best hits of Telugu cinema. So now, Ram and his fans have huge expectations on the upcoming film.

The movie will be high on action and mass and comprise all the commercial elements. Srinivasaa Chitturi is producing the movie on a massive budget with high production values and top-notch technical standards under Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. It is presented by Pavan Kumar.

Ram looks rugged and massy in the poster as he pulls the Gangireddu (bull) with his hand. Though he looks classy and fashionable in a denim shirt and jeans, there is a fierceness on his face. Boyapati Sreenu is showing Ram in a mass-appealing character.

The most sought-after actress, Sreeleela, will play Ramā€™s ladylove in the mass action entertainer that also features some notable actors in prominent roles.

SS Thaman is composing the music for the film. Editing is handled by Tammuraju while cinematography is by Santosh Detake.

#BoyapatiRAPO will release in Hindi and all south Indian languages.
