Hyderabad: Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej’s ‘BRO’ is one of the most-awaited Telugu films of the year.
Directed by actor-director Samuthirakhani, ‘BRO’ is the official remake of the Tamil film ‘Vinodaya Sitam’ which was also directed by Samuthirakhani. On Monday, the makers unveiled Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej’s first look from the film.
Pawan Kalyan and his nephew Sai Dharam Tej will play the lead roles in the film, and fans of the Mega family have been waiting to see the duo together on the big screen. Sporting a grey t-shirt and off-white trousers with black shades hanging from one pocket, Pawan Kalyan has his right leg on a bike as Sai Dharam Tej watches on, gracefully smiling and donning an off-white jacket and a brick-red shirt. Both stars look dapper and stylish in their new avatars.
While Pawan Kalyan was introduced as the titular character (Bro), Sai Dharam is cast as Mark aka Markandeyulu. The film is a family drama with an element of fantasy and spirituality, and the promos have set the bar high already. Currently in the last leg of the shoot, the film’s post-production formalities are being wrapped up simultaneously. The drama is set to release in theatres on 28 July this year.
Ketika Sharma, Priya Prakash Varrier, Samuthirakani, Rohini, Rajeswari Nair, Raja, Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Prudhvi Raj, Narra Srinu, Yuva Lakshmi, Devika, Ali Reza, and Surya Srinivas play key roles in the film. Sujith Vaasudev cranks the camera for the film.
