Hyderabad: A case has been filed against Samantha's item number 'Oo Untava' from the upcoming Allu Arjun movie 'Pushpa'. A lawsuit has reportedly been filed in a court in Andhra Pradesh against the song stating that the lyrics portray men as lustful. But it doesn't end here. They have even called for banning the song.
Samantha's item number from 'Pushpa' has set the Internet on fire for two reasons – her raunchy looks and the song and the lyrics.
'Pushpa' has been making headlines for various reasons and now, this new controversy has created a buzz in the industry just before its release. The irony is that the song was written by a man. It was composed by Devi Sri Prasad and written by Chandrabose.
'Pushpa', directed by Sukumar, will hit the theatres on 17 December. It stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media and will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
The film will release in two parts. While the first part is releasing this month, the second will hit the screens next summer.
