Chiyaan Vikram and Pa Ranjith come together for Thangalaan

Actor Chiyaan Vikram is currently basking on the success of his recent film Ponniyin Selvan -1 in which he played one of the Princes from the Chola dynasty. His previous film Cobra was a debacle at the box office and PS-1 was a relief to the actor and his fans.

As per the latest update, Vikram signed a new project titled "Thangalaan". The director of this film is none other than Pa. Ranjith who made films like Sarpatta Prambarai, Kaala and Kabaali.

In this content-driven hero-centric film, Parvathy and Malavika Mohanan will be seen playing the leading ladies. The others in the star cast include Pasupathy, Hari Krishnan, Anbu Durai and a few more prominent actors.

A. Kishore is handling the cinematography and GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music. Tamizh Prabha is the co-writer of this film and the art department is handled by S.S. Moorthy. R.K. Selva (Editing) and Stunner Sam (Stunts) are the others in the star cast.

The story is set against the backdrops of Kolar Gold Field, the film crafted and materialized as an action entertainer produced by Studio Green K.E. Gnanavel Raja in association with Pa. Ranjith's Neelam Productions at a whopping budget.

On the other hand, Vikram has Dhruva Nakshathram and Ponniyin Selvan -2 also in hand.
