Coming Soon: Money Heist 5 to stream in two parts; first part on Netflix from September 3

The fifth and last season of Money Heist will stream on Netflix in two parts.

Netflix took to its social media to announce the streaming dates of season 5. Netflix revealed that Money Heist Season 5 will stream in two parts. While the first part will arrive on September 3, the second part will premiere on December 3.

A teaser was released and it gives a glimpse of what each character is up to after spending more than 100 hours in the Bank of Spain. The teaser is all about the emotional journey the characters have been through.

They have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own. Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, doesn't have an escape plan. Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that is much more powerful than any they've faced: the army.

"When we began to write Part 5 in the midst of the pandemic, we felt that we had to change what was expected from the ten-episode season and used every tool we could to create the sensation of a season finale or series finale in the first volume itself. We decided to work in an extremely aggressive genre, putting The Gang on the ropes. In volume 2, we focus more on the emotional situation of the characters. It is a journey across their sentimental map that connects us directly to their departure," said Ɓlex Pina, creator of the series.

Money Heist is one of the most-watched originals on Netflix. The web series has streamed four seasons till now and fans of this series have been waiting for the fifth and final season.

Money Heist stars Ɓlvaro Morte, ƚrsula CorberĆ³, Pedro Alonso, Itziar ItuƱo, Najwa Nimri, Jaime Lorente, Miguel HerrĆ”n, Esther Acebo, Rodrigo de la Serna, Darko Perić and Hovik Keuchkerian among others.
