Defence minister Rajnath Singh watches 'Major' trailer; praises the team
The minister also unveiled the film’s slogan – ‘Jaan Doonga Desh Nahi’

The minister appreciated the team for their efforts and congratulated them. The makers will soon organise a special screening for the Defence minister and his family. 'Major', one of the most awaited films of the year, is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the decorated NSG commando who was killed by terrorists during the 26/11 attacks.
The minister also unveiled the film's slogan – 'Jaan Doonga Desh Nahi'. These words are the fundamental philosophy by which Major Sandeep lived. The slogan highlights his spirit, the emotion by which he saw the world. Actor Sesh and director Sashi Kiran Tikka met the Defence minister on Sunday in Delhi and showed him the trailer of the film and discussed the story. The film celebrates the spirit of Sandeep Unnikrishnan's life and traces the various phases of the soldier's life.
Designed for the big screen experience and mounted on a large scale, the bilingual film was shot in both Hindi and Telugu and will release in Malayalam as well.
Produced by Sony Pictures International Productions in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, 'Major' stars Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Revathi, Prakash Raj, Anish Kuruvilla, and Murali Sharma. 'Major' will hit the screens on 3 June.
