Dhanush-starrer Naane Varuvean to release in Telugu as Nene Vasthunna
Leading film producer Allu Aravind has acquired the Telugu distribution rights to ‘Naane Varuvean’ which he will present under his Geetha Arts banner.

However, industry insiders have confirmed that the film will hit the screens on 29 September, a day before the release of Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan'.
'Naane Varuvean' is directed by Selvaraghavan who is reuniting with Dhanush for the fourth time following the success of 'Kaadhal Kondein', 'Pudhupettai', and 'Mayakkam Enna'. Fans have high hopes for this movie which is expected to make a solid opening at the box office. That being said, an exciting development on the release of 'Naane Varuvean' has been known.

With a well-known producer on board, the film will reach a larger audience in both the Telugu states. The Telugu version will be released on the same day as the Tamil version. The film is produced by renowned producer Kalaippuli S. Thanu who has previously worked with Dhanush on films such as 'Asuran' and 'Karnan', and we can anticipate the momentum to continue with 'Naane Varuvean'. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the film's music and the ace composer has already provided a super hit song in the form of "Veera Soora" which was the first single. Meanwhile, the much-awaited teaser will be released on 15 September.
