Dulquer Salmaan turns Lucky Baskhar for his third Telugu cinema venture

Hyderabad: Sithara Entertainments has unwrapped the first look of Dulquer Salmaan as ‘Lucky Baskhar,’ marking the actor’s impressive 12-year journey in the film industry. Dulquer, who initially stepped into the limelight as the successor to Malayalam Megastar Mammootty, has evolved into a pan-India sensation with a repertoire of memorable performances.

Teaming up with Sithara Entertainments, known for delivering universally appealing films, Dulquer Salmaan collaborates with writer-director Venky Atluri for a captivating tale centred around the ambitious bank cashier called ‘Lucky Baskhar.’

The first look reveals Dulquer Salmaan in the character of a bank cashier working at Magadha Bank in Bombay, set against the backdrop of the 80s. The film promises to narrate the extraordinary journey of a simple man, capturing his remarkable transformation.

As the movie progresses at a brisk pace, the makers, who previously brought the audience the acclaimed film ‘Sir/Vaathi,’ assure viewers that Lucky Baskhar will be a thrilling cinematic experience. National Award-winning composer GV Prakash Kumar is set to create the musical backdrop, aiming to replicate the success of their earlier collaboration.

Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments, along with Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios, the film also features the stunning Meenakshi Chaudhary in a leading role. Nimish Ravi handles the cinematography, and the National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli takes charge of the film’s editing.
