Exclusive: Janhvi Kapoor to make her Telugu debut with NTR30

Hyderabad: For some time now, there have been speculations and rumours that Janhvi Kapoor will play the leading lady in NTR30. Starring Jr. NTR, the film will be directed by Koratala Siva. This project, which was set to go on the floors a few months ago, will begin its first schedule in March.

The film is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Yuvasudha Arts.

To date, the makers have not officially announced the leading lady of the film but as per our exclusive sources, Janhvi has given a nod to play the heroine in the film. The young actress, who is the daughter of the late heroine Sridevi, will be making her debut in the Telugu film industry with this film.

Janhvi was questioned by the media a couple of times at various events but the actress denied the rumours about her being part of this project. If the reports are to be believed, Janhvi is charging around Rs. 5 crores for this film. After the mega success of ‘RRR,’ Janhvi was always vocal about her fondness for Tarak and expressed her interest in working with the globally-acclaimed actor and dancer. In a recent interview, she even said she is looking forward to working with Koratala Siva.

Janhvi was last seen in the Hindi film ‘Mili,’ the official remake of the Malayalam film ‘Helen.’ Boney Kapoor, Janhvi’s father, is said to be super excited about his daughter working in Telugu cinema.
