Exclusive: Ravi Teja, Siddu Jonnalagadda to come together for a multi-starrer?
The Telugu film industry has seen several remakes in the last couple of years. Not all of them were hits. Let’s see where this remake will land.

Hyderabad: Tamil film ‘Maanaadu,’ starring SJ Suryah and Simbu, was one of the biggest blockbusters of 2021. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the psychological thriller is about a man and a police officer who gets trapped in a time loop on the day of the chief minister’s public conference. Despite their attempts to escape, they must live the same day over and over again.
Such a concept was new to the Tamil audiences and they loved it. The film also appealed to audiences outside the state and its OTT premiere was a hit.
For some time now, news about the Telugu remake of this film has been doing the rounds. But till now, there has been no confirmation on who is directing, producing, and acting in it. But as per the latest update, Siddu Jonnalagadda and Ravi Teja will play the leads in the remake. While Siddu will step into Simbu’s shoes, Ravi Teja will be seen in the role played by SJ Suryah.
In case this story doesn’t work even after making changes to suit the tastes of the Telugu audiences, Ravi Teja and Siddu will still collaborate for a multi-starrer film.
On the work front, Siddu is working on the sequel to ‘DJ Tillu.’ He recently announced his next with Dil Raju under the banner Sukumar Writings. This film will be directed by a debutant. Ravi Teja, who is currently basking on the success of ‘Dhamaka’ and ‘Waltair Veerayya,’ is working on ‘Ravanasura’ and ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao.’
