Exclusive: Suriya debuts in Tollywood; his first Telugu movie goes on floors

After a long wait, the much-awaited project from Suriya has gone on floors.

Directed by Siva of Viswasam and Annatthhe fame, the bilingual film marks the Telugu debut of Suriya.

This project has been in news for a long time now and expectations have been high. Fans had to wait for an official confirmation from the makers.

Produced by UV Creations' sister banner V Celluloids, the film will be executed by Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green productions.

The launch of the film took place with pooja and the entire team took part in it.

Devi Sri Prasad will compose music for the film. The makers are still in talks with Pooja Hegde and Disha Patani and one of them will be roped in for the film.

"This will be the highest budget film in Suriya's career. The project is so big that it can be released as a pan-India film. After Suriya won a National Award for Soorarai Pottru, the film has a lot of scope to win the hearts of many across the country. Suriya is nothing less than a pan-India star. The entire film will be shot in Chennai and the production is taken care of by Gnanavel Raja. This project is going to be a crazy one," said a source

The film will hit the screens next year and more updates on the same are awaited.
