Hyderabad: Ace filmmaker and producer Allu Aravind has tested COVID-19 positive after taking the first jab.

Allu Aravind himself recorded a video and shared it on social media where he said that he is absolutely doing fine and it is only because he had taken the first dose of the vaccine.

The filmmaker has clarified about a recent news article in which he was said to have tested positive even after getting the second dose of covid vaccine.

"I and a couple of my friends have traveled recently. Three of us have tested positive and two of us have taken our first dose of vaccination already. So two have mild symptoms. The one who hasn't taken the vaccine yet is hospitalized. And I must say that I am doing fine and suffering from mood symptoms only because I have taken the vaccine," he said

This video has gone viral and somebody is talking good about the vaccine. Allu Aravind has quarantined himself and is adhering to all the necessary protocols.

"Covid won't be life threatening if you get vaccinated. I am an example of that sharing my experience. So please don't believe in any rumours of people getting Covid even after getting vaccinated. Please get vaccinated," he added.
