Hyderabad: Sree Vishnu is one of the bankable actors in the Telugu film industry but is going through a tough time as he is struggling to bag a hit in the box office. For a change, the actor has tried something different in his upcoming film 'Alluri'.

The film's first-look poster was unveiled on 3 July. "Nijayitheeki Maaru Peru" (A synonym for Sincerity) is the tagline that signifies Vishnu's character. The actor underwent a remarkable transformation to play the role of a cop and he looks dashing in the khaki uniform.

'Alluri' is based on the real story of a police officer and is directed by Pradeep Varma and produced by Bekkem Venugopal under Lucky Media banner. Bekkem Babita is presenting the movie.

Director Pradeep Varma did intense research for the movie to tell an honest story. The journey starts from the day he takes charge as the SI and we get to see the kind of situations he goes through, the sacrifices he makes, and the pressures he faces from society and his superiors.

The film also stars Kayadu Lohar and Suman. Raj Thota cranks the camera for the movie and Harshavardhan Rameshwar provides the music. Dharmendra Kakarala is the editor and Vital is the art director.

The entire shoot for 'Alluri', except for a song, has been completed. The makers will soon announce the release date and kick-start the promotions.
