Hyderabad: Akkineni Nagarjuna's 'The Ghost' is set to release on 5 October on the occasion of dasara. The makers released the trailer on 25 August. Superstar Mahesh Babu released the trailer and wished the team luck.



This film is not completely an action entertainer, though it is high on action. If you are wondering about the storyline of the movie, the trailer, besides introducing the main characters, also gives an insight into what the movie is all about. Interpol officer Vikram (Nagarjuna) makes a promise to his father to escort his sister and niece who are being threatened by gangsters.

Gul Panag plays Nagarjuna's sister in the film and Anikha Surendran will play the role of his niece. The trailer also shows the "Ghost" using his main weapon Tamahagane.



The trailer is gripping, action-packed, and has some impactful dialogues. It raises expectations for the movie that is already making noise.

Mukesh G's cinematography and Bharath-Saurab's re-recording as well as the sharp editing are other plus points, besides the lavish production design.

Narayan Das Narang, Suniel Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, and Sharrath Marar are producing 'The Ghost' under Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP and Northstar Entertainment banners.

Mark K. Robin is the music director, while the songs are by the duo Bharath and Saurab. Brahma Kadali is the art director for the film which has stunts by Dinesh Subbarayan and Kaecha.
