On the occasion of the superstar's birthday, the makers of his upcoming film 'Beast' have released two looks of the actor from the film and they have taken the internet by storm.
Thalapathy 65 is titled Beast and will be directed by Nelson Dileep Kumar and produced by Sun Pictures. Nelson's birthday was on Monday and it was the eve of Thalapthy's birthday. Hence, the makers released one look earlier and another six hours later.

The first look of Beast shows a razor-sharp Vijay brooding with a gun in his hand while engulfed in smoke, the second poster has Thalapathy dressed in white with a bullet between his lips, like a cigarette. Director Nelson Dilip Kumar promises a big-scale action drama, with blazing guns and explosions in the backdrop and a fighter chopper in the mix. Expectations on this flick are high already. The cast also includes Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, VTV Ganesh and Aparna Das.
What is Beast all about?
Beast is going to be high-octane action drama in which Vijay is likely going to play a commander or a secret agent. There is a possibility that Beast features a vigilante angle which is pretty much common in every commercial cinema.
Big break for Pooja Hegde
Pooja had earlier acted in a Tamil film called Mugamudi in 2012. But the film hasn't given her either a break or fetched any roles. After nearly a decade she is back to Tamil films for her career's biggest break where she will be seen working with Thalapathy Vijay for Beast.
Vijay and newcomers
Thalapathy is someone who is always ready to work with newcomers if he believes in the story and the talent of the director. Previously too, he teamed up with directors like Atlee and Lokesh Kanagaraj. And now, he has teamed up with Nelson Dileep Kumar, who has earlier directed Kolamaavu Kokila with Nayantara in the lead role.
