HIT 2 collections: Biggest opening for Adivi Sesh, film becomes crime thriller of the season

Hyderabad: Adivi Sesh's crime thriller 'HIT 2' which released this Friday is playing to houseful audiences. The response to the movie has been amazing, both from critics and the audience. The film needs to recover at least Rs. 16 crores worldwide to be declared a hit, according to the Andhra box office.

Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the movie has become the biggest opener for Sesh. It has already amassed 40% more than the first-day collections of the actor's previous movie 'Major'. 'HIT 2' minted Rs. 6.5 crores (India net) on its opening day and Rs. 11.27 crores worldwide. The final figures are yet to be disclosed.

Sesh has played a cop in many movies but 'HIT 2' deserves special mention as he has gotten into the skin of his character KD and done a good job.

The movie released amidst huge expectations and it lived up to them. Given the enthusiastic reports, the movie will rake in big numbers in its first week and it is likely to end up as the highest-grossing movie for Sesh, Sailesh Kolanu, and Wall Poster Cinema.
