'Hugged my dad and cried': Ram Charan while shooting for Acharya

Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan Tej are excited for the release of their upcoming film 'Acharya'. Their fans have been dreaming and waiting to watch the father-son duo perform together and it is finally happening.

'Acharya' is directed by Koratala Siva and is produced by Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments. The film is set to hit the screens on 29 April and the promotions are in full swing.

Recently, Koratala Siva and Ram Charan, in an interview, discussed the film.

Ram Charan revealed that he got the opportunity to spend quality time with his father as they live separately and are busy with their individual projects. He said he was quite emotional at one point. "Dad and I used to eat dinner together and then get up the next day to start working out together. We then began to work on the sets, before wrapping up the shooting portion and returning home together. I had a feeling I needed to cherish these moments but couldn't express it," he said.

A few days after they started working on the film, Chiranjeevi reportedly opened up to Charan and said, "We will never be able to relive these moments, Charan. What a blessing it is to be on the same journey! I intend to make the most of this situation."

"When dad said that, I was baffled. I was crying as I hugged him," Ram Charan disclosed.
