Hyderabad: Hrithik Roshan was last seen in 'War' which released in 2019. Since then, his fans have been waiting for his next. While the actor hasn't officially announced any new upcoming films, according to the latest update, Hrithik has teamed up with 'War' director Siddharth Anand once again for the film 'Fighter'. Deepika Padukone will play the leading lady in the film, it is being said.
'Fighter' is an aerial action thriller where Hrithik will be seen playing the role of an Air Force pilot for the first time. Details on Deepika Padukone's role have been kept under wraps for now. 'Fighter' will be made on a budget of Rs. 250 crore and is said to be among the biggest action events of Bollywood.
The film will mark the debut of Siddharth as a producer. 'Fighter' will be produced under the Marflix banner with Viacom 18 as a studio partner. The studio giant has a stake in almost all rights of the film - from theatrical to digital and satellite.
Sources have said that when it comes to finances, the film deal is said to be the biggest ones that happened during the pandemic. All eyes from different other industries are on this film as it will release in various languages. The film will be an action drama and a blend of action and thrill with a strong undercurrent of nationalism, romance, and emotions. It is written by Ramon Chibb.
Deepika Padukone had earlier revealed that she has always wanted to work with Hrithik. The pair look super hot together and their chemistry on screen will be a topic that will be discussed for a long time.
