Hyderabad: Actor Sudheer Babu's upcoming film, a biopic on sportsperson Pullela Gopichand, the Guru of PV Sindhu, seems stuck in a Bollywood production house. The biopic was announced ages ago, but we are still waiting for updates on the project's progress. However, fans have been anticipating its release for quite some time.
When asked about it, Sudheer Babu said, " A lot of people have been asking for this film. It has been pending for a long time. Junglee Pictures, a Bollywood production company, owns the film's rights. They wanted to make a single film. However, they now intend to divide it into two parts. So the scripts for both are underway. So this project will take some more time to fall into place."
The biopic is the most prestigious film in Sudheer Babu's career in terms of scale and budget. The actor played tennis and worked very hard to get into the shoes of Gopichand, but for various reasons, Sudheer had to let go of the project tentatively. He further added that he chose to stick with the project because a big production house was making it. Sudheer has been in a couple of Bollywood films and has carved out a market for himself. The actor is currently busy focusing on his next film after his recent flick, 'Hunt', became a box-office disaster.
