The idea to release Jalsa came after Mahesh Babu's fans screened Pokiri on his birthday. Giving to Pawan Kalyan's fans' wishes, the makers of Jalsa decided to rerelease the film in the theatres. Jalsa will be released in 500-plus theatres across the world and bookings will open soon. An official confirmation is awaited.
Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Jalsa has Illeana, Parvathi Melton, and Prakash Raj in key roles. Brahmanandam's comedy is one of the highlights of the film and so is Devi Sri Prasad's music.
