Jersey, Maharshi win big at 67th National Film Awards

Telugu film industry is super happy with two big films making it big at the 67th National Film Awards. Nani and Shraddha Srinath starrer Jersey, and Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde starrer Maharshi have won multiple awards.

Telugu film industry is super happy with two big films making it big at the 67th National Film Awards. Nani and Shraddha Srinath starrer Jersey, and Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde starrer Maharshi have won multiple awards.

Maharshi hit the screens in 2019 and has received two National Awards today. It has been adjudged the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. The Mahesh Babu-starrer also received the Best Choreography award for Raju Sundaram, who is one of the best choreographers and dancers in Indian cinema.

Maharshi is all about a CEO of an MNC returning to India to meet his friend. Luck however has other things in store as he takes up farming and teaches its importance to the whole world. The film is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and went on to become a huge hit at the box office.

Nani's Jersey won the Best Film award and people can't stop celebrating this big news. Jersey, a Gowtam Tinnanuri directorial is an emotional drama and is made against the backdrop of cricket. Nani played a 36-year-old father, who is a cricketer as well, puts in all the possible efforts to get back to the ground again and pursue his dream and make his son proud.
