Kantara fame Sapthami Gowda roped in for Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War

Hyderabad: Sapthami Gowda became popular across the country with her performance in one of 2022’s biggest hits ‘Kantara.’ After receiving praise for her acting, the actress has now been roped in to play a key role in filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s upcoming flick ‘The Vaccine War.’

The movie has entered the final schedule. After shooting intense battles all over India, ‘The Vaccine War’ has moved to Hyderabad for the final battle. The film features Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, and Divya Seth among others.

Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Kashmir Files,’ which won critical accolades besides becoming a massive blockbuster, has been shortlisted for Oscars 2023. The director is presently making ‘The Vaccine War,’ which will open certain chapters about Covid-19 and vaccination drills in the country. Pallavi Joshi of I Am Buddha Productions is producing the movie, besides playing a vital role in the film.

Abhishek Agarwal who worked with Vivek Agnihotri on ‘The Kashmir Files’ will release ‘The Vaccine War’ throughout the country through his Abhishek Agarwal Arts banner.

The film’s theatrical release is scheduled for Independence Day, 15 August 2023. It will release in over 10 languages, including Hindi, English, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Urdu, and Assamese.
