Vijay Sethupathi also took to social media to announce the film and wrote, "Happy to be associated with Director #SriramRaghavan, @katrinakaif, @sanjayroutraymatchbox, @rameshtaurani, @tips for #MerryChristmas."
What can be better than announcing 'Merry Christmas' on Christmas? The film has gone on the floors and Katrina has already started shooting for it while Vijay Sethupathi is expected to join soon. If things go as per plans, the film will hit the screens next winter.
The film was delayed due to the second wave of COVID-19. Katrina Kaif recently got married and after a very short break, she is back to work. She was last seen alongside Akshay Kumar in 'Sooryavanshi'. The film released in theatres and crossed Rs. 100 crore mark in almost a week. The actress has two films lined up - Salman Khan's 'Tiger 3' and Farhan Akhtar's 'Jee Le Zara' co-starring Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt.
Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in a web series being directed by Raj and DK. It will star Raashi Khanna and Regina Cassandra.
