Here are some of the most awaited pan India films.
KGF -Chapter 2: The whole country, and Indians all across the world are eagerly waiting for this film. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film has Srinidhi Shetty in the lead role. Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Rao Ramesh, and other popular actors are playing key roles. The first part of the film, which was released in multiple languages, was a huge hit. All eyes are on the second and last chapter as people are eager to know what Rocky Bhai does to Kolar Gold Fields and the baddies. Yash became a pan-India star with this film.
RRR: Directed by Rajamouli, RRR has Ramcharan Tej, Junior NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Olivia Morris in lead roles. Set in the pre-independence era, the film is produced by DVD Danayya. The teaser of the film has gone viral for all the right reasons. RRR film is slated for release on Dussehra that falls on October 13. However, it is uncertain whether the movie will be released on the said due as the shooting has been stalled due to COVID.
Radhe Shyam: Radhe Shyam has been in the making for a long time now. Directed by Radhakrishna and produced by UV Creations, the film is slated for release on July 30. Pooja Hegde is playing the leading lady in the film. Set in Europe of 1970s, it is touted to be one of the biggest blockbusters in the Telugu film industry. A major part of the film has been shot in Italy and Georgia. Radhe Shyam marks the return of Prabhas in a romantic avatar after a decade.
Liger: Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey in lead roles. This film marks Vijay's Bollywood debut and Ananya's Tollywood debut. This film is also a pan-India film and is being shot in multiple languages. Ramya Krishna is said to be playing Vijay's mother in this film.
Adipurush: Adipurush is inspired by Ramayana but will explore the story of Lord Rama, Sita, and Ravan from an entirely different perspective. This is another pan India film that stars Prabhas in the lead role besides Kriti Sanon Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh will be playing Lord Rama Seetha Rama and Lakshmana respectively. Adipurush has gone on floors a few weeks ago but has been kept on hold as there is a lockdown in Mumbai. But as per the latest reports, the makers of the film are going to resume the shoot in Hyderabad.
Salaar: After KGF- Chapter 2, director Prashanth Neel announced that his next film is going to be with Prabhas. On the occasion of Shruti Haasan's birthday, the makers announced that this Tamil beauty is going to play the lead in this film. Salar marks the first-ever collaboration of Prabhas, Prashanth, and Shruti Haasan. An action-thriller, Salaar is slated for release on April 14, 2022.
