Hyderabad: Lokesh Kanagaraj's high-octane action film 'Leo,' featuring Thalapathy Vijay, has been making waves in theaters since its release on October 19. It is eyeing ₹600 crore milestone at the box office.

As the film enters its fourth week, reports suggest that 'Leo' is gearing up for an OTT release on Netflix, tentatively scheduled for November 16. While an official confirmation is pending, it's speculated that the filmmakers have struck a substantial deal with Netflix, pushing the initial OTT release date of November 21 to an earlier slot.

This Tamil action-thriller has emerged as a major player in the Indian and Kollywood Box Office, boasting a worldwide collection nearing ₹598 crore. Anticipation looms as 'Leo' aims to surpass the global collection record of ₹605 crore, a feat currently held by Rajinikanth's 'Jailer.' The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has already secured its position among the top twenty blockbusters in India.

Despite experiencing a decline in collections post-October 30, following an impressive second-week surge, 'Leo' stands as one of the most significant Tamil hits of the year. With its ensemble cast featuring Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, and Arjun Sarja, 'Leo' offers a cinematic treat available in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film had an impactful opening day, collecting ₹64.8 crore, making it the largest opener for a Tamil film in domestic and international markets, setting new benchmarks in the cinematic realm.
