Mahesh Babu, Trivikram to unite once again

Hyderabad: It's official. Mahesh Babu's next film will be with Trivikram Srinivas. The film was launched on Thursday with a formal pooja ceremony in Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. Mahesh Babu who usually doesn't attend his movie launch events skipped the ceremony while his wife Namrata Shirodkar graced the event.
Tentatively titled 'SSMB28', the film will also star Pooja Hegde. The project has already become one of the most-awaited films as both Mahesh Babu and Trivikram are in 'blockbuster' form, given that both the actor and the director have delivered huge blockbusters with their last movies. They had earlier created box office tsunami twice with the classics 'Athadu' and 'Khaleja'.
Trivikram had shown Mahesh Babu in first-of-its-kind roles in the earlier movies. Needless to say, Trivikram has readied a winning script for Mahesh Babu and it will have elements that will appeal to all sections of the audience. Moreover, Mahesh Babu will be presented in a never seen before role in the movie.
The new film will be produced by S. Radhakrishna (China Babu) under Haarika & Hassine Creations banner and it will be presented by Mamatha.
For the murtham shot on Pooja Hegde, Namrata Shirodkar sounded the clapboard while Suresh Chukkapalli switched on the camera.
SSMB28's shoot will commence from April 2022. The most-awaited film will feature a stellar cast and top-notch craftsmen. After this film, Mahesh Babu will begin shooting for Rajamouli directorial.
