Hyderabad: Mahesh Babu starrer Athidhi is hitting the screens in a fresh avatar.

Scheduled for a worldwide release on May 29, the movie has been upscaled to 4k to create a new theatrical experience for viewers

The release date coincides with the birth anniversary of the late Superstar Krishna.

The production team describes this project as a `reincarnation’ rather than a typical re-release. Athidhi 4K includes technical updates, such as a 4K restoration from the original negatives, a revised edit for the narrative, improved audio mastering, and modern re-recording to align with current theater standards.

Using the tagline, “Taking it up a notch higher… A first like never before Athidhi Vibe,” the makers aim to present a refined version of the film.
