Malayalam Actress Divya Prabha harassed on Air India flight; lodges police complaint against passenger

A flight from Mumbai to Kochi turned into a harrowing experience for Malayalam actress Divya Prabha. The unsettling incident that occurred on October 9 left her fans outraged and concerned.

It also prompted Divya to lodge a police complaint.

Divya Prabha took to her Instagram to share the shocking ordeal, expressing her dissatisfaction with the airline's response to the situation. Despite reporting the harassment to the air hostess, the only measure taken was relocating her to another seat shortly before takeoff.

In a late-night Instagram post, Divya wrote, "I need your support to bring attention to a disturbing incident I faced on Air India Flight AI 681 from Mumbai to Kochi. A fellow passenger, intoxicated and disruptive, harassed me during the flight."

Following her arrival at Kochi airport, Divya reported the issue to airport and airline authorities, who redirected her to the airport's police aid post. She included screenshots of the complaint email she sent to the Kerala Police, urging them to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.

Regrettably, the actress expressed disappointment with the response from both Air India's ground office and the flight crew. Fans and concerned individuals are now calling for improved passenger safety measures on flights, emphasizing the importance of addressing such incidents promptly and effectively.
