Malayalam hit 'Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey' to stream on Hotstar from 16 Dec

Hyderabad: Several Malayalam films released this year but only a few managed to make an impact on the audiences and did well at the box office. One such film is 'Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey' starring Basil Joseph and Darshana Rajendran. This film emerged as one the biggest family entertainer of the year at the Malayalam box office and make huge profits. It has all the hallmark commercial elements that will appeal to all audiences.

OTT giant Disney+ Hotstar has announced that the film will stream on the OTT platform from 16 December.

The movie is written and directed by Vipin Das and stars Basil Joseph and Aju Varghese.

'Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey' is about a smart, educated, and ambitious middle-class girl Jaya played by Darshana Rajendran. She has never been controlled by anybody in and has all the control over her life. But when she gets married, she is forced to adjust, which she doesn't like. How she regains control of her life forms the rest of the story.

Basil Joseph is the director of the popular Malayalam film 'Minnal Murali' which has Tovino Thomas in the lead role.
