Hyderabad: Malayalam movie 'Hridayam' was a huge hit in theatres and OTT. The film stars Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Darshana Rajendran in the lead roles. The film received much love and now is now all set to be remade in various languages.

On 25 March, Dharma Productions tweeted that the film will be remade in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

This is definitely happy news for all 'Hridayam' fans out there. The coming-of-age romantic-drama released in theatres worldwide on 21 January this year and attained critical and commercial success.

"It is a dream come true for our team, to be associating with these two prestigious and respected names in the industry. Thank you Madhavan sir, @karanjohar sir and @apoorva1972 sir for your faith in our film. Heartfelt thanks to audiences all over the world for the immense love you have showered upon our film," the makers said while confirming the news of the remake.

'Hridayam' released during the peak time of COVID-19 this year and that too when theatres had 50% occupancy. But thankfully, it opened to some great collections and received praises for the performances and story. It is a feel-good film with emotions that have been beautifully portrayed. The remake project will go on the floors soon and the cast will be announced in the next update.
