Megastar Chiranjeevi blocks date for Waltair Veerayya, to release on 13 January

Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Bobby Kolli have come together for the mass and commercial entertainer 'Waltair Veerayya'. The film is getting ready for a Sankranti release and is set to hit the screens on 13 January. The film's shoot is in the last stages and the post-production work is currently underway in Hyderabad.

Chiranjeevi has delivered many blockbusters on Sankranti and another blockbuster is ready to offer "Mass Party" in theatres for the much-celebrated festival of the year. The release date poster presents Chiranjeevi in a vintage mass avatar. He is seen wearing a lungi, a vibrant shirt, and a headband.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is playing a mighty role in the film. Shruti Haasan will star opposite Chiranjeevi in the film that is being billed as a mass action entertainer laced with all the commercial ingredients. The film is being produced on a grand scale by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers, while G.K Mohan is the co-producer.

Arthur A. Wilson cranks the camera, Niranjan Devaramane is the editor, and A.S Prakash is the production designer. Sushmita Konidela is the costume designer.

While the story and dialogue were written by director Bobby himself, Kona Venkat and K. Chakravarthy Reddy have penned the screenplay. The writing department also includes Hari Mohana Krishna and Vineeth Potluri.
