Music composer-turned-actor Raghu Kunche has slew of films lined up

Hyderabad: Music composer Raghu Kunche needs no introduction. He has been a major contributor to the Telugu film industry. He started his career with 'Bumper Offer' and has not looked back.

The music director-turned-actor has won accolades for 'Palasa 1978' in which he played the lead antagonist. After winning hearts with his performance in the film, Raghu has been offered five films where he will play the lead antagonist. Of these, three are ready for release.

When asked how different his career as an actor has been, he said, "Music is all about impressing many people—from the director to the producer, then the hero and of course the audiences. It is very difficult. But acting is not like that. When compared to music, acting is very easy. If you can understand what the director wants, and deliver the same, you are set. Also, it is important to understand the character too."

He further added that his career as an actor has been very satisfying. Besides playing the lead role in an upcoming film, Raghu Kunche has three films as a music director. 'Palasa' brought Raghu into the limelight as an actor and as a music director.
