'My fate is not good': Hyd fashion designer Prathyusha Garimella dies by suicide in Banjara Hills residence

By Newsmeter Network Published on 12 Jun 2022 7:33 AM GMTHyderabad: City-based fashion designer Prathyusha Garimella died by suicide at her residence in Banjara Hills. Her death was reported on 11 June, but the exact date and time of the incident are not known.
The Banjara Hills police came to know of the incident after they received a call through Dial 100. They found her body in the washroom of her home. She had inhaled poisonous gas from a cylinder that was found in her residence. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) is yet to identify the gas that she inhaled.
The police suspect that Pratyusha was suffering from depression. The SHO of Banjara Hills police station said in her suicide note, Pratyusha wrote, "No one is responsible for my death. My fate is not good."
The Banjara Hills police have registered a case under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CRPC) dealing with suicide and other suspicious deaths. They are investigating the case.
Pratyusha had her own brand, 'Pratyusha Garimella', and used to run a fashion studio in Banjara Hills. She has worked as a fashion designer for several top Bollywood, Tollywood, and sports celebrities including Raveena Tandon, Parineeti Chopra, Huma Qureshi, Kajol, Shriya Saran, Kajal Aggarwal, Madhuri Dikshit, Juhi Chawla, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sania Mirza, and others.
Friends and fans mourned her death. Upasana Kamineni, entrepreneur and actor Ram Charan's wife, took to Twitter to share her grief. "My bestie, my dearest good buddy. Gone too shortly (sic)," she wrote.
