Naga Chaitanya, Kriti Shetty team up for bilingual film to be directed by Venkat Prabhu

Hyderabad: Naga Chaitanya who is riding high with consecutive hits will be joining forces with ace director Venkat Prabhu for his 22nd film. The bilingual film will release in Telugu and Tamil. Srinivasaa Chitturi will produce the commercial entertainer under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner, while Pavan Kumar will present the film. Krithi Shetty will share the screen with Naga Chaitanya in NC22 which is also the most awaited #VP11.

The coming together of the trio for this Telugu-Tamil bilingual project is being viewed as a mammoth combination. What's more, the movie will have music by the legendary father-son duo Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja. This is their first film together and a chartbuster album is assured. This indeed is going to be one of the major attractions.

The yet-to-be-titled movie was launched on 23 June with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad. The team and south celebrities Sivakarthikeyan, Gangai Amaren, Yuvan Shankar Raja, and Premgi attended the event. For the muhurtham shot of the lead pair, mass director Boyapati Sreenu sounded the clapboard, while versatile actor Rana Daggubati switched on the camera. Veteran actor and director Bharathi Raja, "The Warriorr" director N. Lingusamy, and Burugupally Siva Rama Krishna handed over the script to the makers.

This film marks Naga Chaitanya's first Tamil movie and Venkat Prabhu's debut in Tollywood. Many noted actors will feature in the movie, while popular technicians will take care of different crafts. Abburi Ravi has penned the dialogues. The film's regular shoot will commence in July. Other details will be revealed soon.
