Hyderabad: News that Naga Chaitanya is doing a web series with director Vikram Kumar has been doing the rounds for some time now. As per the latest report, the project will begin soon and the series, a horror thriller, is titled 'Dootha'.
Dootha means 'messenger'.
Chay is currently shooting for his next film 'Thank You' also being directed by Vikram Kumar. The shoot is currently happening in Moscow. The film also stars Raashi Khanna. The shoot is on the last leg and soon, the filmmakers are going to wrap it up. Vikram Kumar is said to have informed Amazon Prime Video that he is ready to begin the shoot for the web series. Vikram Kumar and Chay had earlier worked in 'Manam'.
Producers Dil Raju and Sirish recently said that in 'Thank You', Chay will be seen in a never-seen-before role. The film will release in 2022. S. Thaman has composed the music for 'Thank You' and it is co-produced by Harshith Reddy.
Chay is currently basking in the success of his latest flick 'Bangarraju' which also stars his father Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. Chay's next release is 'Laal Singh Chaddha' along with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. It is an adaptation of 'Forrest Gump', Robert Zemeckis' multiple Oscar-winning film which was released in 1994 and starred Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. Aamir will co-produce the Hindi adaptation along with Viacom18 Motion Pictures.
