Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya team up again; much-awaited project goes on floors
Nagarjuna Akkineni's much-awaited film 'Bangarraju' has gone on the floors. It is the prequel to 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' and the project has been pending for a long time now. Due to many reasons, the film took some time to go on the floors. Nagarjuna, too, was busy with his other films.

In his decade-long career, Nagarjuna has explored a variety of films in every genre. He also enjoys a huge fan base, be it the youth or family audiences. 'Soggade Chinni Nayana', directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala, was the actor's highest-grossing film.
'Bangarraju' will also star Nagarjuna's son and actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. With Chay being part of the film, expectations have touched the sky. Chay recently came back to Hyderabad after finishing his shoot for 'Lal Singh Chaddha' with Aamir Khan in Kashmir. The celebrated father-son duo had previously appeared in Akkineni's multi-starrer 'Manam', an all-time classic blockbuster and a memorable film for the Akkineni family and fans all over the world.
Ramya Krishna who was in 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' is part of 'Bangaraju' as well. The filmmakers have roped in the most sought-after heroine Krithi Shetty to play Naga Chaitanya's love interest.
The multi-starrer was launched recently and the shoot commenced on Thursday in Hyderabad. Anup Rubens is providing the music score for the film. Satyanand has penned the screenplay while Yuvaraj is the cinematographer. Zee Studios is co-producing the project with Annapurna Studios.
